Dell’ Anima, which means “of the soul” is a cozy little Italian nook tucked away on 8th Avenue in the West Village. This Italian gem is partially owned by Joseph Campanale who used to be the sommelier at Babbo, so although the space is tiny, the wine list is impressive and extensive. The menu, which changes daily, consists of sophisticated bar snacks to compliment your Barolo as well as homemade pastas, meats and other traditional rustic Italian fare. Cozy and quaint, Dell’ Anima is a total fave.
