John DeLucie’s Village hotspot is well done for one of the “cool” spots in town. The interior is great– think soaring ceilings and salon-de-Paris style photos and paintings covering the walls. The place is sceney, yes, but the food actually holds its own and the staff was surprisingly pleasant and on-the-ball. Primetime tables are of course impossible to snag but I do think The Lion is living up to the roaring hype.
