We have a serious crush on the Ace vortex (what we call Ace Hotel and it’s surrounding genius minihood). It’s one of our top picks when we need a sleuth staycation.

With neighbors like Opening Ceremony, Project No. 8, Stumptown Coffee Roasters, No. 7 Sub, The Breslin, The John Dory Oyster Bar, and an ever-jamming lobby, it’s pretty much a self sufficient hub for our favorite variety of provisions. Enjoy inspired (in room) details like turntables, full sized refrigerators stocked with local treats (like Brooklyn Lager), and refurbished, vintage Polaroid cameras to document your stay.

p.s. There is nothing better than ordering room service and eating a Lamb Burger (from @thebreslin) in bed while watching a movie in your pajamas. Right?
